Job Summary:

This position provides purchasing support for the Procurement department for key tasks such as RFQ’s, contract/PO maintenance, Supply Chain Portal, Supply Chain Events, Supplier Scorecards, Supplier management software, and Supplier Metrics. Coordinates E1 System requirements for Residential plants and Monroe Departments

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manages and maintains supplier pricing information as established by Commodity and Sourcing Managers. This includes quotes and standards in E1 and coordinates annual standard setting process. Also updates load pricing standards as required throughout the year and at year end (5,000+ part #’s).
• Creates and maintains reports as requested by department to track information such as budgets, performance metrics, project status, supplier info, and others as needed
• Acts as the System Administrator of the Supplier Management Software System used to document all supplier compliance, certifications, and approvals and RFQs. Also manages the internal Supply Chain portals used for project, status, and documentation updates and storage.
• Reconciles weekly voucher discrepancies and problem invoice from the voucher log.
• Assists Sourcing Managers in assembling information for RFQ’s such as supplier information, part information, usage data, etc. and populating and distributing RFQs for some commodities as well as gathers and recap the quote information when returned.
• Provides administrative support including answering phones, preparing and distributing various forms of correspondence to the plants and suppliers, and mail activities.
• Plans and executes support of large purchasing events such as Supply Chain University, Supplier Summit, and Material Managers meetings

SCOPE & IMPACT:
These positions also support the corporate procurement group, including the VP of Corporate Procurement, the Director of Procurement N. America, Commodity Managers on direct materials, and indirect Procurement Managers. This is a key support role to maintain our systems and processes to ensure that E1 is operating properly. As most activities involve maintaining pricing or vendor information, A higher level of precision and technical training/knowledge is required beyond a typical admin role.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• High School diploma or GED with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Extremely proficient in MS Office Suite, Excel, Outlook, Word, Access and PowerPoint
• Knowledge / understanding of basic supply chain and purchasing concepts and practices
• Up to 5% travel.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
• SME level expertise in ERP system (e1 preferred)
