Job Overview: 

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of sales and revenue enablement programs to drive product adoption and sales success. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, RevOps, Product, and Enablement, to design comprehensive enablement strategies that empower sales teams and enhance product knowledge. The role will also be responsible for leading the execution of key RevOps processes and program management, as well as supporting the enablement needs for AvidXchange’s products.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue Enablement:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and revenue enablement strategy to drive product adoption, customer success, and sales effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Product, and Enablement, to deliver impactful sales enablement programs and content that support sales success.

  • Ensure seamless product enablement and communication to Sales teams.

  • Create and maintain standardized content libraries, including templates, product sheets, and the Bill of Materials (BOM) for sales content.

  • Develop explainer videos, demos, and product documentation in collaboration with Sales Engineers (SEs) to ensure clarity and consistency in product messaging.

  • Support sales training and certification initiatives, ensuring that the sales team is well-equipped with the knowledge and tools to effectively sell AvidXchange products.

  • Manage the Enablement Hub, ensuring that it contains up-to-date resources and materials for the sales team.

  • Collaborate with New Hire Onboarding (NHO) teams to ensure product enablement is aligned with onboarding processes for new sales hires.

 

RevOps Process & Program Management:

  • Own the management and execution of RevOps processes, ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, and product teams to support sales and revenue goals.

  • Lead and manage key operational programs, ensuring processes are efficient, scalable, and well-documented to support long-term growth and success.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to continuously improve and refine enablement processes, measuring effectiveness and implementing necessary improvements.

 

Product Enablement Leadership:

  • Serve as the point of contact and lead for product enablement, collaborating closely with the Product Marketing team, Sales, Product, and Enablement teams to ensure that all product-related resources, training, and messaging are aligned with business objectives.

  • Lead the communication strategy to the sales teams, ensuring they are well-informed about product updates, releases, and key messages.

  • Facilitate the creation of clear and concise product training materials, ensuring they are engaging, informative, and aligned with customer needs and pain points.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, sales enablement, or revenue operations, preferably in the technology or SaaS industry.

  • Proven experience driving sales enablement initiatives and delivering high-impact enablement programs that drive product adoption and sales success.

  • Strong knowledge of RevOps processes and experience managing enablement programs across multiple teams.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex product information into clear, actionable content.

  • Experience working closely with sales teams to understand their needs and deliver content and resources that support their success.

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, RevOps, and Enablement teams to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with product demos and explainer videos.

  • Familiarity with sales enablement tools and platforms.

  • Knowledge of the accounts payable automation or financial technology space is a plus.

  • Experience with new hire onboarding and training programs for sales teams.
