YOUR ROLE

As an Electrical Regulatory Device Manager, you will play a crucial role within the Global Product Stewardship (GPS) section of P&G, supporting all of the company's appliances worldwide. Based at our GIC Kronberg Tech Centers, you will serve as a global GPS project leader, providing regulatory expertise and collaborating with renowned service providers such as TÜV, VDE, and UL.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with electrical industry norms and regulations throughout the product development process.

  • Project Leadership: Collaborate with R&D to incorporate GPS-related inputs from testing to global launch of electrical devices.

  • External Representation: Represent P&G's position on electrical device regulation changes in standard committee meetings and engagements with regulatory bodies.

  • Collaboration: Work with global SMO GPS teams and distributors to align development needs with market introduction and address regulatory-related questions.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about regulatory changes, interpretations, and industry trends to influence electrical regulations and develop compliant products.

Job Qualifications

YOUR PROFILE

  • A degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a similar field. Enjoy strategic regulatory work and have a strong desire to develop regulatory expertise. Prior electrical regulatory experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Leadership: Engage and energize partners across functions and external business partners. Strong collaboration and communication skills to represent P&G in meetings with regulators and service providers. Work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Decisiveness: Work independently, analyze information, make decisions, and follow through with confidence

  • Industry Awareness: You like to stay in tune with the dynamic business category.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral English communication skills. Summarize and present complex regulatory information effectively. German language skills are a plus.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in electrical engineering, radiotransmission engineering, or physics.
