Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop scalable AI/ML solutions, ensuring the architecture is optimized for large-scale deployments.
  • Engage in the entire lifecycle of AI/ML product development, including research, prototyping and deployment.
  • Utilize expertise in generative AI technologies to identify and integrate AI tools and techniques into core business areas and customer experiences.
  • Analyze complex business challenges using data-driven insights.
  • Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, project teams, and IT to develop a thorough understanding of AI/ML applications and use cases.
  • Communicate effectively, translating complex technical details into understandable concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Be hands-on in evaluating use cases, building prototypes, and enhancing analytics capabilities.
  • Focus on utilizing, rather than training, large language models (LLMs).
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and developments in the data science and AI fields.
  • Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of AI-driven solutions.
  • Work effectively with offshore teams to coordinate and integrate AI/ML developments.
  • Enable and mentor development teams in AI/ML techniques.

Building blocks for success

Required:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in Data & Analytics.
  • Strong practical experience with data science methods applied to large and diverse datasets.
  • Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python and R.
  • Advanced proficiency with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda and EKS.
  • Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and IaC practices using Terraform preferred.
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and their application in real-world scenarios, with a focus on developing and tuning models that can scale.
  • Experience in establishing and operating within MLOps frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement data services across an organization.
  • Deep understanding of AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and prompt engineering techniques such as Chain-of-Thought (CoT) prompting.
  • Experience with embedding strategies and working with vector databases.
  • Proven ability to deliver AI products that have added value to business operations.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or relevant equivalent experience) preferred
  • Experience with Dataiku strongly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively across diverse teams and explaining complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work on complex projects with minimal supervision.

Hiring Salary Range of: $111,000-$148,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
