Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist with solid experience using Meta4 to join our HR Operations team in Madrid.

The selected professional will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees in Spain, while supporting payroll compliance, reporting, and administrative HR processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full payroll cycle for employees in Spain using Meta4.

• Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, deductions, variable compensation, social security contributions, and tax withholdings.

• Review and validate payroll inputs, including new hires, terminations, leaves, promotions, and other workforce changes.

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, benefits, and compensation.

• Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, and external stakeholders.

• Prepare monthly reports and payroll reconciliations, ensuring compliance with legal and internal requirements.

• Support audits and ensure adherence to Spanish labor regulations and company policies.

• Monitor updates in labor and payroll legislation, recommending adjustments when necessary.

• Maintain employee records and documentation with confidentiality and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or a related field.

• At least 4 years of experience in payroll processing within a multinational or large company environment.

• Advanced experience with Meta4 (mandatory).

• Strong knowledge of Spanish labor law, social security, and payroll taxation.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of data.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

• English preferred.
