Job Description:

IT Quality Control Advisor 


Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of the following PulsePoint location. 37 Thurber Blvd, Suite 108, Smithfield, RI 02917.


Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm


The IT Quality Control Advisor will lead a team of QA Analysts in all aspects of manual testing.


How you will make an impact:


•    Coordinate testing schedules within the scrum and sprint timelines. 
•    Support developers with any testing queries. 
•    Review overall accuracy and appropriateness of test case creation and execution. 
•    Support customer testing (UAT) and interact with businesses to ensure no concerns. 
•    Ensure all testing deadlines are met and plan for contingencies. 
•    Support automated and performance-related testing activities.

Minimum Requirements: 


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field. Five (5) years of experience in related occupation(s).

Additional Requirements: 


Five (5) years of experience must include: 


•    Five (5) years of experience executing application testing and IT product quality. 
•    Three (3) years of experience with each of the following: developing testing strategy and master test plan to support testing objectives; managing the relationship with peers in IT and business for system(s) supported.
•    Leading and coordinating all testing within a system area.
•    Leading in the design, development and implementation of testing components.
•    Defining appropriate testing methods to employ to ensure developed products conform to the requirements and design.
•    Reviewing and approving all project related test assets for completeness and quality.
•    Ensuring all applicable SDLC and testing processes are followed.
•    Managing both onshore and offshore test execution resources for project under test.
•    Experience with Test Data Management, collecting requirements, evaluating available data in repositories, ID gaps, and owning test data provisioning tasks.
