Overview:
Marketing Manager I role, responsible for driving new business growth to the Wilmington Advisors @ M&T business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing and Advertising Support: Respond to requests from various bank departments and business units for high-visibility, strategic advertising, promotional, and marketing materials (including emails, flyers, digital ads, direct mail, social media, etc.). Ensure that all deliverables align with the bank’s objectives and brand standards.
- Creative Development: Collaborate with internal clients to develop, create, and recommend advertising copy and layout. Ensure that all materials are cost-effective, meet client objectives, and secure client approval.
- Market Research and Analysis: Assist in the design and execution of market research projects. Evaluate the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, promotions, and public relations activities, using data-driven insights.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, evaluate, and analyze data related to customers, competitors, and market trends. Provide insights to senior management on market penetration and offer strategic recommendations.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and deliver detailed reports on current and potential market analyses. Ensure that all marketing support materials are prepared, produced, and implemented effectively, including the design of sampling procedures, construction of questionnaires, and tabulation of specifications. Planning and management of campaign budget and results.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Adhere to the company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in line with the company's risk appetite. Identify and escalate any risk-related issues to management as needed.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Foster an inclusive environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
- Internal Control Standards: Maintain M&T’s internal control standards, ensuring the timely implementation of audit points and addressing any issues raised by external regulators.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the marketing department.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent in work experience.
Minimum four years’ experience in managing a marketing function.
Previous experience and successful track record in performance marketing, sales enablement, and / or brand marketing.
Sound creative judgement.
Ability to cultivate internal relationships with business line partners.
Detail oriented.
M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $79,184.45 - $131,974.08 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
