Join our team at Waco Animal Emergency Clinic as a compassionate and enthusiastic Veterinary Technician to work our overnight shifts. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our veterinary team in providing exceptional care to our animal patients and ensuring a positive experience for our clients. We have multiple different shifts available!
About our clinic: At the Waco Animal Emergency Clinic, we specialize in emergency and critical care for animals. Weβre passionate about helping your pet get back to normal as quickly and efficiently as possible. We are open at all hours of the night to assist you and your pet when you need it most. We are a fully equipped emergency and critical care overnight hospital for animals. We are available at all hours of the night to assist you and your pets. Weβre proud to serve all pet owners in the Waco, Texas area.

A Day in the Life:
β Collaborate with a team of veterinarians, other veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care and client service.
β Help veterinarians with patient exams, procedures, and surgeries, ensuring all equipment and supplies are prepared and ready.
β Administer medications, vaccinations, lab tests, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
β Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals during surgical procedures.
β Provide compassionate nursing care to hospitalized and recovering patients, including wound management, IV catheterization, and fluid therapy.
β Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment, such as radiography and ultrasound machines.
β Communicate with pet owners, explain treatment plans, provide updates on patient status, and address any questions or concerns.
β Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, treatment plans, and medical histories.

Salary: $15.00-$26.00 an hour, to commensurate with experience. Shift differentials available!
