Education

  • University degree in IT/engineering or equivalent qualification/experience

Experience

  • 6-10 years of experience in a similar position in the same area, of which 5 years within the SWIFT environment
  • Proficient knowledge of Office and Collaboration tools (e.g. Confluence/Jira, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Project or Programme Management experience or certification is a big asset
  • Understanding of Agile and ITIL
  • Experience with SWIFT and its products and services is a plus

Key Responsibilities

As a dynamic Programme Readiness Manager, and depending on the assignment and involvement type, you will be responsible for the following -

- as a Readiness Coordinator:

  • Lead or coordinate the operational Readiness of major commercial or infrastructure programmes
  • Actively engage with key stakeholders from the different Swift groups
  • Represent operational teams in the early phases of a project and ensure with those teams that their requirements are taken into account
  • Engage and lead virtual teams to develop, document and deliver the operational Readiness plans for these groups
  • Follow-up on the development, testing and deployment of these requirements with the appropriate development teams and squads
  • Provide clear regular updates on progress, issues and risks to Senior Management, key stakeholders and all impacted operational teams
  • Ensure Operational Readiness Tests are prepared, planned and executed timely
  • Organise Go/No-Go decision points based on clear, updated and transparent Risk and Launch Checklist

- as a Readiness Partner:

  • Provide the necessary coaching, mentoring and support activities to any Readiness Coordinator(s) (outside of our team), appointed by the team leading the initiative, so that he/she will be able to perform the above-mentioned readiness activities with success.

- as a project or programme manager, for initiatives going beyond pure Readiness activities:

  • Perform the necessary project or programme management activities as agreed with your management and key stakeholders

improving the project management methodology by sharing lessons learned.
