The Finance Reporting Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible to support financial solutions and implementations, from documentation, improvements of  financial reports and processes related in coordination within Finance Team to reduce manual risk and reduce execution time. The overall objective of this role is to support new projects and controls related to local regulatory reporting in accordance with local guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Support of LRR transformation for Latin America countries, driving efficiencies and the adoption of best practices for standardization of local regulatory reporting
  • Support implementations of systems and tools that will optimize regulatory reporting processes and time of deliverables
  • To support implementation of EMPs around Local Regulatory reporting processes
  • To support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identification of better ways of working
  • To complete post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects
  • Use effective communication to present to senior management and collaborate with other departments / teams in order to implement reporting regulatory solutions, as well as drive the change control process.
  • Work with senior leadership on strategic planning, establishing guidelines, implementing controls, and executing strategic plans
  • Assist with the implementation of policies and procedures
  • Assist with budget process, and BoW administration
  • Has the ability to work with a limited level of direct supervision and remotely.

Qualifications:

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 5+ years of related experience in Financial Services Industry and/or Project Management experience
  • Experience with Agile or Citi lean Methodology is a plus
  • Ability to work with multiple functions
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge, Power Point, familiarity with advanced data tools (e.g. KNIME, Power BI, etc.) is an advantage
  • Understanding of Risk and Control Frameworks
  • Experience with Agile / Citi Lean Methodology
  • Advanced verbal and written English
  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related areas
