Reception duties: provide information/directions to visitors and callers. Assist students, faculty, and staff with reception requests.
· Operate switchboard, fax equipment, and computer.
· Direct student concerns to appropriate departments. Schedule appointments as needed.
· Provide clerical support and assist with activities as assigned.
· Perform computer applications such as word processing, database, and desktop publishing.
· Responsible for contacting Security for student and employee security concerns. Follow College emergency procedures.
· Organize areas such as front desk, employee lounge and copy room to prepare for next day’s operation. Responsible each evening before leaving to replenish paper in copy machines and fax machine.
· Inspect all bulletin boards for inappropriate or outdated material.
· Handle confidential information in appropriate manner.
Assist faculty and staff with copy jobs.
High school diploma. Clerical experience preferred.
