In this role, your impact will be amplified across many engineering teams at JFrog. You will be building the essential quality tools and systems that allow our engineers to innovate faster and with more confidence. You are not just building tests; you are building the infrastructure that sets the standard for quality across our entire product suite. What you’ll be doing as a Senior Automation Engineer :

• Design, develop, and maintain a centralized automation infrastructure that serves our development teams, providing frameworks for different types of testing (functional, performance, integration).
• Implement and manage CI processes and pipelines that enable fast, reliable, and automated quality checks.
• Build and maintain comprehensive dashboards and monitoring systems to track and visualize key quality metrics, such as test coverage, performance trends, and build stability.
• Act as a subject matter expert for quality infrastructure, advising development teams on best practices and helping them integrate new testing tools and methodologies.
• Develop automated systems to collect, analyze, and report on quality-related data to provide actionable insights to product and engineering leadership.
• Mentor and Guide Teams: Work directly with development and DevOps teams to adopt the quality processes and utilize the automation infrastructure you build.
• Analyze Customer-Oriented Scenarios: Analyze complex customer production environments to identify key usage patterns and create realistic, large-scale testing scenarios to validate the JFrog Platform's performance and stability.

What you bring on to the table:

• 7+ years of experience in automation engineering or software development, with a strong focus on building infrastructure and platforms. - A must
• Proven experience in designing and building scalable test automation frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar) and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - A must
• Proficiency working with diverse testing frameworks for both front-end and back-end, such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Junit  or other relevant technologies. - A must
• Expertise in developing monitoring and observability systems, with experience using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar technologies.
• Strong proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, or Groovy.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for enabling others through technical solutions.

NOTE: The job location is Bangalore (Bellandur) and we follow a hybrid model, mandatory 3 days/week work from office.
