Join our dynamic team at ALSAC-St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as a Liaison for the St. Jude Memphis Marathon. This role is pivotal in managing relationships for assigned campaigns and events, supporting both in-person and virtual fundraising initiatives on our peer-to-peer platform. You'll strategically manage and grow fundraising and event day experiences, fulfilling current commitments and creating new opportunities. This position carries overall revenue, engagement, and experience goals for peer-to-peer campaigns, expanding existing audiences and generating new ones.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising Impact: Strengthen St. Jude's fundraising efforts by achieving business objectives and representing ALSAC-St. Jude positively in all areas.
Leadership & Innovation: Utilize leadership, peer-to-peer fundraising, and marketing skills to expand project implementation plans. Challenge the status quo to reimagine hybrid fundraising and event experiences, positioning the organization as an industry leader.
Participant Support: Cultivate and support fundraising participants across all peer-to-peer events. Coach teams, top fundraisers, and volunteer leaders to exceed targets. Develop communication plans, deliver resources, and instruct on best practices.
Experience Enhancement: Recommend opportunities to enhance participant experiences, including virtual and digital spaces. Suggest benefits, in-program challenges, and recognition to increase revenue based on supporter feedback.
Strategic Planning: Advise on strategy formulation and assist in creating operational plans to achieve strategic goals. Facilitate system integration to support program enhancements and new partnership development. Monitor metrics, report, and address performance shortfalls.
Collaboration & Improvement: Collaborate with various ALSAC divisions to develop and improve procedures for peer-to-peer and community events. Evaluate systems and digital resources to best support fundraising campaigns.
Communication Strategies: Advise on internal and external communication strategies. Develop scalable messaging and resources for stakeholders, partners, and audiences to create synergy and greater engagement.
Business Development: Support new business development through partnerships and platforms, including digital and social opportunities. Embrace a test-and-try mentality to improve fundraising, engagement, and awareness.
Stakeholder Support: Design and facilitate support systems for external stakeholders, including partners and volunteers. Create centralized information hubs and deliver mission moments through communications, training modules, and seminars.
