Senior Frontend Engineer – Immersive Web & Interactive Experiences 

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer with expertise in WebGL, Three.js, GSAP, and immersive web experiences. The ideal candidate has a strong background in interactive and visually compelling web applications, delivering high-performance, seamless, and engaging digital experiences. 

This role goes beyond traditional frontend development—focusing on crafting innovative 3D experiences, smooth animations, and high-fidelity web interactions for clients in industries like gaming, luxury brands, and experiential marketing. 

Responsibilities: 

3D & Immersive Development: 

• Build high-performance 3D interactive experiences using Three.js, WebGL, and shaders (GLSL). 
• Develop custom WebGL renderers, post-processing effects, and real-time visualizations. 
• Optimize 3D asset loading (GLTF/GLB) and ensure performance across desktop and mobile devices. 
• Implement physics-based interactions (Cannon.js, Ammo.js). 

Animation & UI Interaction: 

• Craft engaging UI/UX animations using GSAP, Framer Motion, and Lottie. 
• Develop scroll-based storytelling experiences with smooth parallax effects, transitions, and page reveals. 
• Enhance user interactivity through WebGL shaders and post-processing effects. 

Frontend Development & Architecture: 

• Develop pixel-perfect, highly responsive UI components with React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript. 
• Optimize web applications for performance, SEO (Google’s Lighthouse), and accessibility. 
• Work with WebSockets, WebRTC, and real-time data visualizations. 
• Collaborate with designers to integrate Figma, Adobe XD, or Blender-based assets. 

Performance Optimization & Cross-Browser Compatibility: 

• Implement lazy-loading strategies, texture compression (Basis, Draco), and asset streaming. 
• Ensure smooth 60fps rendering and optimize WebGL performance for all modern browsers and devices. 
• Debug WebGL-related rendering issues and handle memory management efficiently. 

Collaboration & Innovation: 

• Work closely with UX designers, 3D artists, and backend engineers to push the boundaries of web experiences. 
• Lead R&D initiatives to explore emerging web technologies (WebGPU, WebXR, Babylon.js, AI-assisted generative art). 

Qualifications & Experience: 

• 7+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on 3D web applications. 
• Deep understanding of WebGL, Three.js, GLSL shaders, and canvas-based rendering techniques. 
• Proficiency in React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript, with experience in building large-scale applications. 
• Expertise in GSAP, ScrollTrigger, Framer Motion, and UI micro-interactions. 
• Strong experience working with 3D assets (GLTF, FBX, Blender workflows). 
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data streaming. 
• Experience optimizing GPU performance, WebGL memory management, and reducing draw calls. 
• Knowledge of modern 3D libraries (Babylon.js, PlayCanvas, R3F) is a plus. 
• Experience in AR/VR development, WebXR, or interactive installations is a bonus. 

Case Studies & Portfolio Requirements: 

• A strong portfolio showcasing immersive web experiences, 3D interactive projects, and smooth UI animations. 
• Provide case studies highlighting technical challenges and solutions in WebGL/Three.js-based projects. 
• Experience in experiential marketing projects, game development, or interactive storytelling is highly valued.
