Revenue at Crunchbase

As Demand Generation Manager, you will play a key role in driving lead generation efforts and supporting growth for our Crunchbase API and Data Licensing product. You will be responsible for executing and optimizing multi-channel demand generation programs, collaborating closely with the marketing and business development teams to drive pipeline and revenue growth. Your focus will be on top-of-the-funnel activities, including lead generation, nurture campaigns, partnerships, events , and marketing automation. Additionally, you will be responsible for reporting on campaign performance, helping to refine and optimize marketing efforts based on data insights.

What You’ll Do:

  • Campaign Execution: Design, build, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns (web, chat, email, webinars, and more) aimed at generating high-quality leads from Enterprise sized accounts.
  • Lead Nurturing: Develop and implement lead nurturing workflows to guide prospects through the buyer’s journey, using marketing automation platforms to scale personalized outreach.
  • Paid Media: Partner with Paid Media team to build lead gen campaigns across Google Ads and Linkedin, ensuring effective targeting and messaging that drives quality leads and positive ROAS.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to align marketing assets (whitepapers, case studies, webinars) with demand generation strategies and campaign objectives.
  • Partner Marketing: Work directly with partners to build and execute joint-marketing plans, utilizing campaigns and events to drive pipeline with new and existing customers
  • Event Marketing: Partner with Event Marketing Manager to build lead generation opportunities at in person and virtual events. Help track and hit ROI goals by ensuring event leads convert into qualified opportunities.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Assist in tracking key performance metrics (such as conversion rates, pipeline, and MQLs), and create reports to share with the broader marketing team to help optimize campaigns.
  • ABM: build multi-channel ABM campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline among priority accounts. Help our business development team define target account lists.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience with A/B testing, lead scoring, and segmentation and experimentation methodologies.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Experience working with chat (e.g, Drift, Qualified) and ABM tools (e.g, Demandbase, 6sense).
  • Excellent cross team collaboration skills. Have partnered with business development, sales, and RevOps teams in the past.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient with Google Office Suite and other marketing software tools.
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience driving enterprise pipeline at a high-growth B2B company. Preferred experience scaling demand for prospects within the following industries: financial services, investment firms, market research or app development.
  • SaaS and/or startup experience is highly desirable.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Salary Range
$116,110$136,600 USD
