Join eBay’s Regulatory Initiative, where innovation meets compliance! We lead the charge in developing, designing, and completing end-to-end customer solutions for significant new regulations impacting eBay and its sellers. Our distributed team works across various functions, including legal, tax, product, marketing, shipping, customer support, and government relations, to deliver solutions that perfectly balance regulation, customer needs, and business goals. Our work is pivotal, ensuring consumer protection, environmental sustainability, and adapting to global tariff changes, improving our customers’ experiences. In this role, you will own the delivery of eBay’s Regulatory programs from strategy to execution. You will build and implement scalable, compliant solutions that ensure seamless operations and minimize disruptions. By working closely with product, legal, communication, and operations teams, you will transform complex regulatory requirements into actionable programs, balancing compliance with business efficiency.
What you will accomplish:
Lead high impact regulatory programs, ensuring flawless execution and minimal disruption to customers and eBay’s operations.
Build and implement scalable solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet evolving regulatory needs.
Break down complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable tasks, ensuring timely and successful customer experiences.
Provide strong cross-functional leadership, keeping collaborators informed and engaged to co-create efficient solutions.
Use data and market intelligence to build customer-centric solutions, optimizing impact and performance.
What you will bring:
Outstanding program management leadership in corporate, tech, ecommerce, or consulting; experience in customs and cross-border shipping is a plus.
Demonstrated capability to manage extensive, intricate, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through implementation.
Experience managing senior stakeholders globally, with the ability to align diverse teams.
Strategic perspective with attention to detail in legal, business, and product requirements.
Analytical approach to connect regulatory, operational, and customer perspectives for scalable solutions.
Proficiency in English.
Based in Toronto, Canada, with 10-20% travel encouraged.
Additional Details
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
C$121,200 - C$161,800Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including RRSP eligibility, various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
