Senior Manager, Software Development Engineering

What you will do:
Work on cutting edge technology for the providing world class release safety, including exposure to open source tech.
Evaluate, Adopt, Evolve and Maintain both open, inner source and closed source tools and technology and drive the resiliancy ecosystem for Expedia
Create a positive work environment based on accountability and inclusiveness, in partnership with peers on the leadership team. Lead by example, mentor the team, and establish credibility through quality technical execution
Play a key role in the analysis, design, architecture, development and maintenance of EG’s Release Safety Platform.
Defines teams goals and how they fit business needs across multiple orgs working together.
Delivers and influences product roadmap, working in collaboration with product and other platform teams.
Manage and lead the product development lifecycle to reduce time to market, improve product quality and ensure product success.
Lead others in resolving technical issues in a timely manner; follow up with customers to ensure best possible experience for the platform users
Partner with the business to integrate new technologies into business solutions; create and communicate a vision of the technology requirements for the future state of the business
Manage a team of 10+ individual contributors across multiple geographies.
