Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing tools developed using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, providing production support, supporting enhancements, gathering business requirements, conducting testing, and building solutions. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our Excel-based tools to meet business needs and help deliver sales growth.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities 

  • Manage and provide production support for tools developed using the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, ensuring smooth operation and addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner. 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements for tool functionality, usability, and enhancements. 

  • Analyze, document, and prioritize business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and technical solutions. 

  • Design and develop solutions to enhance the functionality and usability of Excel-based tools, leveraging advanced features, macros, and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) programming. 

  • Write complex Excel formulas and functions to automate processes, perform calculations, and manipulate data within tools. 

  • Conduct testing activities, including test case preparation, execution, and defect tracking, to ensure the quality and reliability of tool solutions. 

  • Provide training and support to end users on the use of Excel-based tools, ensuring effective utilization and adoption of the tools. 

  • Continuously monitor and evaluate tool performance and usage metrics, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement. 

  • Stay updated on Microsoft Office suite best practices, techniques, and tools, including VBA programming, to drive innovation and efficiency in tool management. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of tool solutions with business processes. 

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards in all aspects of work.
