This position works out of our Nutrition commercial team, will be based in Dominican Republic.  Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. As a Key Account Supervisor will drive growth of Abbott Nutrition products through the development of strategic partnerships that build long term and sustainable top performing wholesalers and or distributors partnerships with strategically important accounts and boost brand loyalty and advocacy.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for achieving the territory sales and market share targets, budgets, forecast KPIs and healthy margin profiles under a top performance operating model.

  • Create an omnichannel engagement strategy to influence customers/stakeholders and innovate through digital tools and platforms to deliver different customer/business value types in alignment with key account strategies.

  • Develops strategic customer relationships and build customer loyalty moving towards partnership using multiple engagement channels to gain a deep understanding of key accounts

  • Serve as the contact person with customers on all issues, including but not limited to contract management, invoicing, operational problems, complaints, service metrics.

  • Better understand customers' current and future needs and foster innovation to find new ways to serve customers.

  • Understand competitor activity and develop customer retention strategies through initiatives that work on shopper journey.

  • Increase margin growth addressing category management plans and trade promotion activities at key accounts according to market investments (SG&A) & account investment (Gross to net).

  • Ensuring healthy margin profiles. Outperform competition in share of shelf, visibility and product category placement to establish brands’ superiority at Key Account level Execute commercial programs in compliance with JBPs and Distributor agreements to achieve in/to market sales targets, off take, In market stock level (DOH), wholesaler and/or distributor DOH & DSO and optimal trade promotions management (ROI).

  • Evaluates market dynamics based on data analytics and trends, formulate a demand framework and establish critical priorities to analyze target customers identifying opportunities to influence the market. 

  • Analyze internal and external business data (e.g., IMS, Nielsen, CRM and shopper insights, digital analytics, customer data), Collaborates with cross-functional teams to plan and execute brand strategy at the territory level and improve customer insights.

  • Ensure appropriate policy, procedures, QA, and reporting systems comply.

Required Qualifications

  • University bachelor's degree (Graduated).

  • 2 years in commercial areas: supermarket, pharmacy and Traditional Channel.

  • Experience in Demand Generation is desire.

  • English is desire: medium level.

  • Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Power Point: intermediate level.

Travel: the position requires traveling approximately 50% of the time within the country.

Field work: 90% of field work versus 10% of required office work.
