As part of a new project engagement, this role has been created to support a Sydney‑based customer, providing critical service delivery coordination and operational support across a complex Defence ICT environment
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate and deliver high‑quality, reliable IT services that support client business operations across multiple locations
Provide solutions and technical expertise for major incidents, coordinating SMEs, vendors, communications, and reporting to resolution
Monitor, review, and report on service health, performance metrics, and sustainment activities to ensure service targets are met
Influence and negotiate with a broad stakeholder group (Defence, APS, military, vendors) while managing expectations and priorities
Drive continuous service improvement, manage the Materiel Sustainment Agreement (MSA), and support long‑term solution viability and capability evolution
Experience working in large enterprise environments with a strong understanding of service targets, client expectations, and IT support interfaces
ITIL v3/4 qualification (intermediate level preferred) and demonstrated service delivery or service management experience
Working knowledge across technologies such as Windows (11 & Server), Unix/Linux, NiFi, compute infrastructure, virtualisation, EUC, and SRM
Ability to communicate effectively at technical and non‑technical levels, manage multiple priorities, and operate autonomously in high‑pressure environments
Experience in Defence or Government ICT environments and working alongside IT support teams on process improvement and SRM
