Job Summary
Join a dynamic team within Information Technology at the Cleveland Clinic as a Systems Analyst. This is a remote role that focuses both on build related to the maintenance and development of the Epic Resolute module at all Cleveland Clinic locations. Key responsibilities include applying analytical and critical-thinking skills, adapting quickly to changing priorities and assignments, maintaining tact and professionalism under pressure, documenting work clearly and professionally, and communicating clearly and effectively with stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves providing timely updates on assigned work, properly escalating issues and blockers, collaborating with other teams, and working towards organizational objectives. The team operates within the Scrum and Kanban frameworks of the Agile methodology.
An ideal candidate will have build experience with Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) or Professional Billing (PB). Epic Resolute certification is ideal, but may be obtained after hire. Candidates with operational experience within Resolute or build experience from other Epic modules will also be considered. Candidate must have the ability to work with minimal supervision. The level of analyst applied will depend on the candidate's experience. Job Details
- Completes routine support and designated project assignments. Provides input to develop solutions. Assists with project documentation; operational and business objectives, best technology capabilities, task level resource requirements, task plans and general communications.
Responsibilities:
- Completes departmental projects and ongoing application support.
- Assists with scope and task plan development.
- Provides input to resource requirement development.
- Supports development of information system requirements.
- Develops process flow charts and reports on project status.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
- High School diploma/GED and five years of experience may substitute the degree requirement.
- Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience may substitute the experience requirement.
Certifications:
- Microsoft, CompTIA, or equivalent preferred.
- For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date.
Complexity of Work:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Work Experience:
- Three years of experience in Information Technology with experience in applications development and support, end-user training, or equivalent experience in an operational or financial role utilizing the systems or data generated by the systems supported by this position.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
- In some locations, ability to move up to 20 lbs.
