We are looking for an Automation Engineer to help deploy deep learning/computer vision systems for security surveillance solutions. You will work with cameras, devices, and cloud services to support timely product releases, collaborating with teams to deliver reliable IoT software that meets customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement automated testing pipelines for IoT devices
Develop and run automated QA processes for video surveillance systems, including cameras, appliances, and cloud services, as well as firmware updates
Work with teams to set testing requirements, timelines, and approaches using both real and synthetic data.
Monitor test outcomes, find areas for improvement, and track quality metrics.
Stay updated on automation best practices and improve issue resolution workflows across teams.
Perform field testing when required.
Required Skills
Strong expertise in Python programming, with a focus on building scalable, efficient, and maintainable codebases.
Required experience with Pytest or other Python testing frameworks (e.g., unittest, Nose, Robot Framework) for test automation, including writing, maintaining, and executing test cases.
Experience developing APIs for test automation and integrating with AI tools/databases.
Experience with AI/ML/computer vision technologies and database systems.
Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
Expertise in IP camera/video management system networking and protocols.
Bachelor's degree in a technical engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
3+ years' experience developing automation software (Python, JavaScript) for testing embedded hardware/IoT/robotics.
Excellent teamwork, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills; highly adaptable and proactive.
