Job Description

U.S. Bank has a rare opportunity as Digital Claims Support is a new role on the team! This individual will support our digital claims analysts by helping with case backlogs, process money movement, send customer letters, create cases for returning funds, reviewing customer accounts, and other duties as needed. We are seeking someone with strong attention to detail, organization and banking experience. Ideally this individual will have experience with Hogan/banking systems and comfortable with Microsoft Office products. Responsible for case support, investigation, disposition, and/or recovery scenarios involving unauthorized, disputed, or erroneous account activity. Primary scope may include credit/debit/pre-paid card, digital, ACH, or checking transactions. May involve analytical research, four wall investigations, validations, general transaction processing, issuing provisional/final credit, reversing fees and interest, sending customer facing communications, and/or recovering funds through merchants and other financial institutions. This position is multi-faceted and requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, the ability to retain knowledge to assist other areas as necessary.

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically two or more years of related work experience

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Basic knowledge of products, services, terminology, policies, procedures, and systems related to assigned area, as well as applicable laws and regulatory requirements
- Proven commitment to high quality customer service
- Good time management skills to maximize the customers that can be assisted while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Ability to work with well with customers and discern and communicate complex details related to claims or disputes
- Competent in leveraging standard technology, tools, and applications used within the industry role
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with proficient research and analytical abilities
- Ability to perform assigned work in a deadline sensitive environment

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $21.25 - $28.32 - $31.15
