The Digital GTM Performance Center of Excellence (COE) works together with teams from multiple functions across the globe, focusing on improving onsite page performance for all Direct to Consumer eCommerce stores.  This initiative is crucial for delivering superior customer experiences and driving improved business results.
 

To elevate and sustain the performance of our eCommerce ecosystem, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team to lead and drive the performance optimization efforts to new levels.

In this role, you will spearhead the Performance Center of Excellence, overseeing the ideation, prioritization, planning, execution and delivery of projects designed to achieve and exceed industry benchmarks for page performance. Collaborating closely with data analysts, developers and designers as well as functional teams such as Product management, SEO, Experimentation and Sales Merchandising, you will focus on improving and continuously optimizing the Google Core Web Vitals for HP's online stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects related to web page performance optimization, from conception through to completion.
  • Conduct and coordinate performance analysis and testing to identify areas for further improvement and define and implement solutions at scale.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web performance optimization.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in Project Management and ideally eCommerce Product Management
  • Proven track record or ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of front-end web technologies and content optimization techniques.
  • Experience with performance analysis tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, WebPage Test or similar.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively, influence others, leading without authority in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar)
  • Scrum.org or Project Management Institute Professional Certifications
