Our Research Care Associate will perform phlebotomy related procedures, vital sign and ECG collection for patients enrolled in clinical trials or working in the Drug Development Unit (DDU).

Duties include and are not limited to:

* Prepare study supplies/source documents necessary for obtaining lab samples prior to patient treatment

* Access, flush and de-access ports

* Perform peripheral and port lab draws

* Obtain blood and other samples, vital signs, and EKGs from patients

* Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for source documentation

* Assists physicians with procedures, as needed

* Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications needed include:

* High School graduate / equivalent required, Vocational / Technical School desired

* Minimum 1 year work experience in a healthcare or clinical trial setting

* Minimum 1 year work experience as a Phlebotomist

* Knowledge of OSHA requirements for safe handling of blood and bodily fluids

* Clinical trial / Oncology experience highly preferred

* Current BLS Certification
