CommBank are seeking an exceptional Principal Enterprise Architect to shape the future of our Merchant technology domain. Translating strategic visions into actionable solutions, you will partner with business and technology stakeholder, to consult, validate, iterate and develop solutions and implementation strategies across merchant and payments technologies. A true technologist and astute architect, you will demonstrate an ability to leverage business customer insights, market intelligence, and technology expertise to drive successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and shape the enterprise architecture across merchant services, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business objectives.
• Translate business strategies from GMs and EGMs into actionable technology solutions, identifying risks and opportunities along the way.
• Provide thought leadership in payments and merchant solutions, working closely with stakeholders to drive innovation.
• Engage in pre-sales and consulting activities, delivering compelling stories that capture stakeholder interest and demonstrate value.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, particularly in payment gateways and merchant processing.
• Decompose complex merchant domains into actionable architectural components, driving enterprise-wide outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs.
