Summary
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a certificate of special qualification in infectious diseases. Deals with infectious diseases of all types and in all organs, including conditions requiring selective use of antibiotics. This specialist diagnoses and treats patients with fevers that have not been explained. May also have expertise in preventive medicine and conditions associated with travel.Practices medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center. Provides patient care under the auspices of Moffitt Medical Group, and serves as member of the academic medical enterprise, advancing the institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer.The position is PRN and time may be spent in outpatient clinic or hospital. Other applicable duties as assigned by Leadership.
