Job Description​

Physical Therapist PRN Plus-Saint Luke's North Barry Road

The staff Physical Therapist PT evaluates client after impairment injury or disease plans designs and implements individualized physical therapy treatment programs after referral from a physician. Interventions may include therapeutic exercise manual therapy functional retraining use of thermal electrical modalities gait training and use of various other training and retraining skills. Periodically reevaluates client to determine effectiveness of interventions and contributes to discharge planning.

The PT supervises treatment provided by students technicians or physical therapist assistants and recommends client care interventions to other members of the health care team to contribute to the clients rehabilitation process. The PT delegates and instructs supportive personnel in services to be provided and performs other duties as requested by the manager.

This staff therapist is required to participate in Weekend, Holiday, and Hard to staff day rotations. A minimum of 6 shifts is required in an 8 week scheduling period. Experience in Acute care and IP Rehab, and OP exposure is a plus.

Applicable Experience:

Less than 1 year

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Physical Therapist (MO) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration

Bachelor's Degree
