In this role, a typical day will include:

• Develop system designs that adhere to high level conceptual design and are traceable to functional as well as non-functional requirements in projects/enhancements
• Ensure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution and operations of solutions
• Deliver design solutions in line with system design standards which are global and scalable following a global template philosophy (Core/Template)
• Ensure that solutions meet requirements outlined in the architecture handbook
• Perform scoping, fit-gap workshops for projects/enhancements, proposes solutions for key gaps, provide effort estimations and align with business teams
• Ensure that project/enhancements work is delivered to agreed time, cost and quality constraints following the release calendars
• Ensure that developed solutions are peer reviewed, formally documented and signed off by business
• Initiate solution testing to ensure these meet quality standards
• Follow standardized design and development processes to enable cost effective delivery
• Solution Quality; Cost efficiency; Delivery time; Customer Satisfaction; Achievement of KPIs for enhancements

​WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

Proven experience and expert knowledge in SAP ERP in the following modules in order to be able to support the Alcon business processes:

• SAP Treasury and Cash Management (Required)
  • DMEE configuration for Payment Medium.
  • Payment Process setup and execution
  • Payment configuration and Payment files integration with external systems.
  • Bank Statements (EBS) processing.
  • Payment Status Report (PSR) processing
  • Global Foreign Exchange Rates (FX).
  • Cash Pooling
  • In House Bank set-up
  • International experience with various forms of payments
  • Good understanding of points of integration within SAP
• SAP Accounts Receivable (This would be nice to have experience)
  • Accounts Receivables
  • Credit Card Processing
  • Lockbox
  • Cash Application Processes
• SAP FI / Accounts Payables (This would be nice to have experience)
  • Vendor invoice postings
  • Vendor invoice release
• Understanding of the master data settings such as Vendors / Customers / Business Partners supporting the areas mentioned above is an advantage.
• Fidelity Information Services – FIS Integrity knowledge
• Setup of schedulers and its tasks
• Understanding of ATS transformation
• Monitoring of the jobs
• Onboarding of new banks into Integrity
• IDOC monitoring experience, RfC connectivity understanding is nice to have.
• Thorough working experience with middleware systems (PI / SI) for the above mentioned areas is nice to have.
• Good understanding of medical devices and/or contact lenses industry along with FDA Computer System Validation processes is an advantage.
