Job Description Qualifications:

We are currently recruiting for a Senior HR Business Partner for Boeing Australia to be based at Amberley RAAF Base. 

Job Summary

Reporting to the HR Manager – HR Partners, the Senior HR Business Partner will provide generalist HR advice, support and services to management and employees across the business to assist in achieving business objectives in accordance to Boeing’s vision and strategy.  Your understanding of contemporary HR-related legislation and policies and as they relate to the appropriate industrial relations environment combined with an understanding and alignment of Boeing values will set you up for great success in this role. Attention to detail in managing sometimes complex tasks that require coordination and planning is also key.

Key accountabilities

  • Provide a consultancy service in alignment with HR objectives by partnering with the business;
  • Diagnose problems and implement solutions to HR management issues;
  • Participate in a range of HR projects and tasks requiring HR guidance and expertise;
  • Prepare reports, submissions, policies etc on a range of HR related matters;
  • Support business leaders and their employees through delivery of effective and timely HR advice and links to other HR Support areas;
  • Provide coaching and development guidance to leaders;
  • Drive and execute the HR priorities, tools and processes within the business;
  • Provide senior team and mentoring support to the HR Partners team.

Education

  • A Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employee Relations or similar is desired, but not essential.

What you might bring

  • 7-10 years experience in a business partnership HR role;
  • Demonstrated ability to research, analyse and provide advice to the business on a comprehensive range of complex HR issues;
  • An applied understanding of contemporary HR related legislation and policies and as they relate to the appropriate industrial relations environment;
  • Well developed and effective written communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult, draft submissions and policies, negotiate and build effective working relationships with diverse range of clients;
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage HR related projects, including leading and participating in project teams, as well as proactively identifying initiatives that can assist HR continuous improvement;
  • Demonstrated time management ability to coordinate tasks and projects and manage own performance with limited supervision.

Eligibility

Applicants must be Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain an NV1 clearance to meet Defence security requirements.
