Job Description

Global Implementation Project Managers are responsible for leading the successful onboarding of new global client payment programs from the completed sale through go-live. Global Implementation Project Managers are client facing and regularly interact with various stakeholder groups with to complete implementations, including client resources and local service providers located around the world. This position is also responsible for the project plan, timeline, and documentation for all aspects of the specific project.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the implementation phase for new clients including project scope definition, project plan development, project resources and project timeline

  • Demonstrate proficiency by providing effective consultation to clients and guidance to internal team members on implementation goals, objectives, and program setup

  • Define program requirements and obtaining approval of final requirements

  • Develop and execute plans supporting risk mitigation, communications & training and testing

  • Appropriate and timely escalation of project concerns and potential solutions

  • Hold weekly status update meetings with the client and representatives from stakeholder groups and provide weekly meeting agendas and minutes

  • Prepare both internal and client correspondence, reports, and presentations

  • Coordinate internal resources, develop a detailed project plan, and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships

  • Advocate for clients throughout the entire onboarding/implementation process.

  • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations based on lessons learned and identify both successful and unsuccessful project elements and establish best practices for project execution

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Five to eight years of experience in project management activities


Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Thorough knowledge of the payments industry

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills

  • Experience working with cross functional teams

  • Experience working with stakeholders located around the world

  

Location:  Minneapolis, U.S. Bank Plaza

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside of the location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00
