Job Description

Your Role: Account Manager (Audio)
As an Account Manager (Audio) at Global, you’ll be responsible for supporting Local Sales by selling our Audio product portfolio to new customers while growing and retaining our existing direct customer base. You’ll focus on both private and public sector markets, building relationships, developing new business, and contributing to the success of our audio portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
• Sales Growth & Account Management (40%): Develop an expert knowledge of businesses within your assigned marketplace. Work on contact leads and create a local contact list to grow your territory’s account base.
• Client Relations (30%): Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, identifying their needs and delivering tailored marketing solutions that help them achieve their goals.
• Revenue Targeting & Forecasting (20%): Achieve weekly KPIs (meetings and pre-booking) and accurately forecast sales, ensuring that you’re meeting revenue pacing targets and maintaining clear records in Salesforce.
• Collaboration & Creative Solutions (10%): Work closely with the Campaign Hub and Creative Solutions teams to deliver compelling and innovative marketing campaigns for clients.

What You’ll Love About This Role
Think Big: Exposure to a diverse range of industries—pitch to marketers and business owners across multiple sectors with Global’s broad product offering.

Own It: Be in control of your own marketplace and client base, shaping your own success and carving out your niche.

Keep it Simple: Learn to simplify complex marketing solutions for clients while managing and forecasting your sales pipeline with ease.

Better Together: Work collaboratively with the wider team and internal stakeholders to create innovative campaigns and drive revenue growth.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll have:
• Developed expertise in Global’s Radio, Classic, and Digital products and inventory.
• Effectively planned and booked client campaigns using the booking system and reporting tools.
• Grown a local contact list and developed a strategy to expand your territory’s client base.
• Built a steady pipeline of new business and maintained strong relationships with existing clients, contributing to consistent revenue growth.

What You’ll Need
• Sales Success: A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, especially in a field-based or client-facing sales role.
• Self-Motivation: A proactive, resilient, and confident approach, with a drive to generate new business leads and meetings.
• Industry Experience: While not essential, experience in selling within radio, outdoor, or digital media environments is preferred.
• Relationship Building: Strong listening and communication skills to establish client needs, build rapport, and ensure client objectives are prioritized.
• Sales Process Understanding: Solid understanding of the sales cycle—from prospecting to closing deals—and the ability to manage client campaigns from start to finish.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Salesforce, gPlan, and campaign planning systems, as well as the ability to work with reporting dashboards.
• Time Management: Excellent diary and time management skills to ensure an efficient territory management strategy.
• Coaching and Development: A willingness to invest in your personal development and stay up to date with internal communications and training.
• Building Trust: Foster a culture of trust, inclusivity, and collaboration within your team, while respecting diverse perspectives and ideas.
