Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a Technical Lead to play a pivotal role in the evolution and delivery FX platforms across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office capabilities. This role is for a senior technologist with FX domain experience, strong engineering leadership, and a proven track record of owning mission‑critical platforms end‑to‑end.

As a Vice President, you will provide technical and architectural leadership across FX trading, risk, post‑trade, and operational workflows, working closely with Trading, Product, Operations, and global Technology leadership. You will shape platform strategy, drive modernization, and ensure that Forte and adjacent FX solutions remain resilient, scalable, and aligned with business growth.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Act as senior technical lead and design authority for Forte and other FX platforms spanning.
  • Front Office: Pricing, execution, order management, trade capture.
  • Middle Office: Risk, credit, limits, controls, STP, lifecycle management.
  • Back Office: Confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, reporting

While FX domain knowledge is not mandatory experience in financial industry esp. large institutes and experience working in GCC (Global Capabilities Center) is required.

  • Own end‑to‑end technical accountability for platform stability, performance, and scalability in a 24x5 global environment
  • Drive architecture and engineering standards, ensuring consistency and reuse across FO/MO/BO components
  • Partner closely with various stakeholders in technology, business, Operations, Risk, and Product to translate business strategy into robust technical solutions
  • Lead and influence multi‑team delivery across India and global locations
  • Provide hands‑on leadership for complex design, performance tuning, and critical problem resolution
  • Oversee production readiness, incident management, root‑cause analysis, and continuous resilience improvements
  • Mentor senior engineers and technical leads
  • Contribute to technology modernization initiatives, including platform simplification, cloud adoption, and automation
  • Represent in governance forums, architecture reviews, and senior stakeholder discussions

Mandatory skills / experience:

  • 18+ years of experience in software engineering, with significant leadership in Markets technology
  • Ability to lead architecture, design, and technical governance at VP level
  • Strong hands‑on expertise in Core Java
  • Proven experience delivering platforms covering either Front, Middle, and Back Office workflows
  • Experience with capital market and large financial institutes
  • Solid knowledge of distributed systems, messaging, and event‑driven architectures
  • Strong production support experience in 24x5 mission‑critical environments
  • Good working knowledge and experience in delivering large enterprise scale solution in cloud native technologies.

Additional requirements / Good to have skills:

  • Prior experience working on or leading Forte or similar strategic FX platforms
  • Exposure to risk, credit, margin, and regulatory reporting systems
  • Experience with microservices, containerization, and cloud‑native patterns
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and automation frameworks
  • Experience driving platform modernization or large‑scale transformation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of operational risk, controls, and resiliency in regulated markets
  • Experience working with global stakeholders across regions and time zones
  • Good understanding of FX products (Spot, Forwards, Swaps, NDFs, Algos, Benchmarks), order lifecycle management, trade capture, and post‑trade processing
