About the Role
We're looking for a Team Lead to join our German-speaking quotation management team in Budapest. As a Team Lead, you'll be responsible for leading, coaching and developing a team that supports our commercial organization by delivering accurate and timely quotations for customers across German-speaking markets.
This role is ideal for an emerging leader ready to take the next step in their leadership journey, as well as experienced Team Leads who enjoy coaching, mentoring and developing people. You'll balance day-to-day people leadership with operational coordination, empowering your team to deliver accurate, timely quotations while continuously improving the customer experience. Working closely with Sales, Pricing, Customer Service, Commercial Operations and other internal stakeholders, you'll help remove operational roadblocks, support team success and ensure quotation requests are delivered efficiently and in line with business expectations.

What You'll Do
Lead, motivate and develop a German-speaking Quotes Team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
Coach team members through regular feedback, performance conversations and development planning
Monitor daily team workload and ensure quotation requests are completed accurately and within agreed service levels
Support the team in resolving operational challenges and act as the first point of escalation for complex quotation-related issues
Collaborate with Sales, Pricing, Customer Service and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate quote delivery
Monitor team performance using operational metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction
Ensure compliance with company policies, commercial guidelines and operational procedures
Support onboarding, training and knowledge sharing within the team
Encourage continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and sharing best practices
Create an engaging team environment that promotes accountability, collaboration and customer focus
What We're Looking For
Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
Ideally, a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience gained through direct people management or informal leadership responsibilities such as team leadership, mentoring, coaching, SME responsibilities or leading operational initiatives
Previous experience within Quotation Management, Sales Support, Customer Operations, Customer Service Administration or a Shared Services environment
Experience coaching, developing and motivating team members to achieve individual and team goals
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across multiple business functions
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or similar) and CRM platforms
Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational metrics and drive performance improvements
Excellent organizational, prioritization and problem-solving skills
Ability to balance operational priorities while fostering a positive, collaborative team culture
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement
Bachelor's degree is preferred; however, relevant leadership and operational experience will also be considered
Nice to Have
Experience supporting quotation management or commercial operations teams
Knowledge of pricing processes and commercial administration
Salesforce or other CRM experience
Exposure to Lean, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence methodologies
Experience supporting system implementations, transitions or knowledge transfer projects
