$75,000.00/Yr. - $95,000.00/Yr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

As a member of the Axos Commercial Banking team, the AVP Client Services Manager is a team lead responsible for overseeing Commercial Banking client servicing and operational support functions. This role provides leadership, escalation management, and quality oversight for post account onboarding support, deposit servicing, exception processing, and client inquiries. The AVP Client Services Manager ensures service level agreements, quality standards, and risk controls are consistently met while supporting cross functional initiatives with Treasury Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day‑to‑day leadership and oversight of the Client Services team to ensure service level agreements, quality standards, and coverage expectations are consistently met
  • Manage and resolve client and operational escalations, serving as an escalation point for complex or sensitive issues
  • Oversee client servicing activities including call handling, Salesforce case management, secure messaging, and client communications to ensure timely and accurate responses
  • Monitor telephone activity to ensure adherence to call quality, authentication standards, performance metrics, and staffing coverage
  • Provide operational oversight for payment processing, exception handling, and manual wire activity to ensure compliance with policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify trends, risks, and process gaps; implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and mitigate operating loss
  • Review, maintain, and update procedures and process documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness
  • Support cross‑functional efforts and provide guidance related to Treasury Management products and services to clients, as needed
  • Additional duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • 5+ years of prior experience in Commercial Banking, Business Banking, Retail Banking, Treasury Management, client onboarding, or a similar role within a financial institution
  • Strong understanding of banking products and services, particularly related to Commercial Banking and Treasury Management
  • Analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and build relationships with clients
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under time constraints in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems, including Treasury Management platforms and Microsoft Office suite
