As a member of the Franklin Templeton Client Success Team, you will build a portfolio of digital external clients and an internal network to deliver industry leading digital capabilities. You’ll work closely in a globally dispersed team, lead onsite client workshops and drive progress, with a high level of independence. Your quantitative and qualitative analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills will contribute to our successes as we look to onboard and retain clients, showcasing the Firm's digital capabilities. Candidates must have prior financial services experience, ideally working in asset management or wealth management.

  

Position location will be New York, NY, Stamford, CT, St. Petersburg, FL or London (hybrid work schedule). Ideal candidates should be familiar with concepts such as digital transformation, data-driven insights, and customer-centric innovation in the FinTech space.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of strategic digital clients through a lifecycle of sales, implementation and growth phases to maximize long-term value for Franklin Templeton’s clients and partners. 

  • Own the customer relationship lifecycle from solutioning through ongoing account management activities, while leveraging the appropriate internal resources as needed to ensure success. 

  • Define, analyze, configure, and document commercial and technical requirements for Franklin Templeton, our clients’, or partners specifications and objectives. 

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Franklin Templeton using scalable methods, regionally appropriate frameworks, and standard SaaS techniques. 

  • Lead our customers through the solutioning, implementation and onboarding processes with enthusiasm and structure, involving the appropriate internal teams at every stage, in order to drive predictable outcomes every time and to set them up for success. 

  • Based on client and advisor feedback, develop and evolve strategies and content to increase adoption of our digital products. 

  • Build pathways to collect client feedback on our products, both directly as a front-line contact and through establishing scheduled opportunities for our product development teams to hear directly from clients and their employees. 

  • Act with independence to determine approach and procedures on new opportunities. 

  • Set strategic direction of near-term team goals and with team span of control. 

  • Become a trusted advisor to our digital clients, demonstrating to them a path to mutually greater value. 

Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or related field, plus experience in a combination of investment management, high-tech growth companies, corporate venture, or consulting industries.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of investment concepts, financial markets, and investment products.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients at all levels of the organization.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working with wealth management technologies, CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and web-based technologies.

  • Self-motivated and proactive with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

  • Ability to manage a project, work to deadlines, and prioritize between competing demands

  • Understanding and demonstrating deep subject matter expertise in the investment management industry or a pattern of rapid assimilation

Preferred Candidates Will Have:

  • Experience leading a portfolio of SaaS business-to-business (B2B) clients to meet sales growth and relationship targets

  • Experience leading matrixed teams in a B2B SaaS environment

  • Deep asset management or wealth management experience
