The SEO Manager ensures flawless execution of SEO initiatives across local, and content pillars. This role bridges strategic planning and hands-on implementation, ensuring every update, page launch, and translation adheres to SEO best practices and contributes to measurable growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own day-to-day management of Google Business Profile listings
- Maintain NAP consistency (Name, Address, Phone) across all directories and platforms.
- Optimize local pages for map pack visibility, local keywords, and location-based schema.
- Lead local SEO reporting by partnering with agency and internal analytics to quantify impact and ROI
- Partner with agency to identify trends and growth opportunities with timely implementation
- Drive continuous improvement in local visibility and GBP traffic, collaborating with the Senior Manager to align initiatives with broader SEO and marketing goals.
- Maintain the SEO backlog of content and local SEO optimization projects.
- Document detailed project requirements, issue descriptions, and acceptance criteria for each SEO initiative.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager, SEO on prioritization decisions and sprint planning.
- Partner with IT and development teams to communicate requirements, track progress, and validate deployments.
MINIMUM Requirements
Education
- A Bachelor's’ Degree in marketing or business related field.
Experience
- 5-7 years of digital marketing experience
- 3 years of onsite and offsite Search Engine Optimization
- Experience partnering with product and IT to deliver technical solutions that improve SEO
- Experience with web analytics
- Experience managing agency partnerships
- Google Search Console
- SEO tools like SEMRush, MOZ, Surfer SEO, BrightEdge
