CACI is seeking a VDI Engineer (mid) to join our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA/Arnold, MO. As a team, we will be responsible for developing and maintaining agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities deployed across multiple security domains utilizing Agile scrum methodologies. Tailoring cutting-edge solutions to unique requirements of our clients, we will support multiple tenants deploy a myriad of application stacks and data services.  A person who has a proven track record designing and maintaining VDI in a large enterprise; motivated self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills and enjoys working within a team environment. The Virtual Desktop Engineer will support the design, configuration, and maintenance of a large, globally accessed virtual desktop environment.  This role will be the SME in troubleshooting all related performance issue across the organization.  Additionally, the position will require an individual experienced in system design and integration, identity life-cycle management, and process automation and improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • In addition to architecting and designing, the VDI Engineer will provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators in order to resolve VDI issues.

  • Provide guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability and act as liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies.

  • Offers endpoint support on issues and trouble resolution tasks on Virtual Desktop related tasks.

  • Maintains an Advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies.

  • Operate across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.

  • Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.

  • Conducts trade studies and makes recommendations on solutions and "make buy" decisions.

Requirements:

  • Experience providing engineering support for legacy and current versions of Citrix products.

  • 5+years of experience with BS degree or a combination of years of experience and education

  • Progressive roles from Administrator to Sr. Engineer

  • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15 and later

  • Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS)

  • Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD); Citrix Netscaler / ADC / VPX

  • Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM);Citrix App Layering

  • Liquidware Profile Unity

  • Hyper V, VMWare VDI (Microsoft or Citrix NetScalers / ADCs)

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience managing and administering Windows Server clustering

  • Experience with Infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.

  • System Center Virtual Machine Manager/Vmware Vcenter 6.7

  • Active Directory/ Group Policies

  • Home Directory and Profile management Support Services

  • Desktop Software provisioning and Support Services

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$74,600-$156,700
