We’re looking for a Sales Operations Associate to join Snap in our New York City office! As a member of our Sales Technology Team you will help manage our suite of third-party sales tools. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing our tooling budget, investigating new tools to address the evolving needs of our sales teams, coordinating renewals and the contract process, and partnering with finance to ensure purchase orders are correctly captured and processed. In this role you will work closely with Sales teams and their leadership, Legal, Finance, and product/engineering teams to ensure our sales team is maximizing the value of the tools we provide.
What you'll do:
Budget Management: Oversee and track a $3-$4 million budget allocated for third-party sales tools. Monitor spending, forecast future expenditures, and work closely with finance to ensure proper allocation of funds.
Contract Management: Collaborate with the Legal team to review and process new tooling contracts and renewals. Ensure that contracts are aligned with company needs and budget constraints.
Renewal Management: Closely monitor renewal dates and proactively manage the renewal process to avoid any service interruptions.
Purchase Order Creation & Processing: Create, submit, and track purchase orders for new tools, renewals, and any required services. Ensure that all procurement processes are followed and purchase orders are approved in a timely manner.
Sales Tooling Education: Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the sales team when questions about 3rd party tools arise. Ensure that the sales team has adequate educational materials, including in-person trainings and robust documentation..
Measure Value of Tools: Regularly assess and report on the performance of sales tools, including tracking usage, adoption rates, and overall effectiveness. Provide actionable insights to Sales and Sales Operations Leadership to optimize tool utilization.
Vendor Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong working relationships with third-party vendors. Manage vendor communications to troubleshoot and resolve issues and explore opportunities for additional features or services.
Cross-Functional Relationships: Work closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, CRM Technology, and IT teams to ensure smooth coordination of purchasing, budgeting, contract management, technical integration, and ongoing support of sales tools.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience administering sales tools and technologies that are distributed across a large sales team. Examples include Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, Pathmatics, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Highspot, etc.
Strong analytical and data manipulation skills. Should be comfortable working with annual budgets and financial reports, and eager to study usage data to drive insights that lead to stronger tooling adoption.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong organizational skills. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently.
Experience working in the tech, media or digital advertising industry, with strong knowledge of the global advertising market.
Experience with the software development lifecycle, and ability to partner with technical teams to drive tooling integrations.
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in sales operations, procurement, or a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a business, marketing, finance, or related discipline.
Experience with contract management, budget oversight, and purchase order management.
Expertise with Salesforce CRM and other sales tools.
Expertise with Google Sheets/Excel, specifically with budget management, financial analysis, and large dataset exploration. SQL and Salesforce Reporting experience is a plus.
Experience supporting the tooling needs of a large (500-1000) sales team, with understanding of the different sales motions for Large Enterprise teams vs. SMB-focused teams.
Experience working in the tech, media or digital advertising industry, with strong knowledge of the global advertising market.
Strong operational mindset & attention to detail; an ability to execute numerous daily tasks with consistency and rigor.
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to initiate and drive projects to completion.

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this position is $104,000-$156,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
