In this role, you will take the initiative and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Your insights will shape how players access the content they love while building a sustainable business model for Fortnite.

In this role, you will

  • Partner with product, design, game development, art, and programming counterparts to identify opportunities to give players the most value possible out of our cosmetics and use data to develop metrics and insights that shape the execution of our cosmetic strategy.
  • Developing and maintaining standards for dashboards and reporting initiatives. This includes making sure data is visualized appropriately, creating consistent standards, and confirming that all data are accurate
  • Working with key stakeholders to identify needs and report outputs to answer questions and drive decisions clearly
  • Documenting requirements, developing, and delivering both written reports with analysis and charts on a dashboard
  • Working with programming and QA to consistently monitor and improve our data
  • Perform data analysis using data querying tools such as SQL and Spark

What we're looking for

  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a Business Intelligence or Statistical Data Analyst
  • Demonstrated understanding of both contemporary video games and analytics best practices
  • Passion for games, analytics, and sharing data with others
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with development teams to instrument telemetry
  • Experience writing efficient and scalable SQL over billions of rows; it is a plus if you are familiar with distributed computing using Spark (Scala or PySpark)
  • Demonstrated skills in visualizing data (ideally using Tableau)
  • Comfort with supporting operational processes, including Code version control (Github or similar), Orchestration (Airflow)
  • Ability to prioritize, work with multiple departments, and deliver at a high speed
