Job Description
What is the opportunity?
This role is responsible for providing critical “One-RBC” client relationship support, client insights, and decision support for RBC’s Enterprise Strategic Client (ESC) segment. Working directly with an ESC Deputy/Vice Chair and Managing Directors, this role is responsible for coordinating all activities of the ESC Group around each ESC family covered by the Deputy/Vice Chair.
This role creates value working with ESC Group and cross functional RBC partners and client family-business connections, in a highly agile and client-centric environment, including relationship management, risk mitigation, client on-boarding, client insights, and stewarding the integrity and accuracy of Salesforce and other data management tools.
What will you do?
Leads the coordination of ESC Group resources in support of client advice and solution needs as identified by the Deputy/Vice Chair and Managing Director
Ensures delivery of a superior, world class client experience by ensuring timely resolution of client issues and inquiries
Prepare clear, succinct documentation, research and presentation material for client/business partner meetings
Ensures complete, accurate and up-to-date information is maintained in data administration tools, and monitors the associated timelines/ stages for tracked activities
Interacts with and develops relationships with cross-functional partners
Responsible for preparing synthesizing, summarizing and integrating large amounts of data/client information in a cohesive, easy to understand and high-quality manner i.e. Enterprise Relationship Plans, Client360
Collaborate on or lead special projects or activities as directed to enhance client loyalty and driving innovation
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
Ability to work well within a team environment and take ownership of team deliverables
Problem resolution & comfort with ambiguity at Business/Function level
Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize and work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills and comfort in dealing with cross functional RBC partners and clients
Strong transactional execution capabilities
Strong attention to detail and privacy/confidentiality
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional planning and logistical skills with the ability to work effectively in situations involving rapid change, shifting priorities, and/or simultaneous demands
Strong financial acumen
Fully proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook
Demonstrated experience in project management and strategic client planning while dealing across multiple RBC lines of business at a senior level
Minimum of 5-years multifaceted banking experience; Capital Market, Wealth Management and Investor Services preferred
Nice to Have
Post-graduate or professional designations i.e. MBA, CA, CFA, CBV
Having worked with complex upper-UHNW and/or large institutional clients
Familiarity with international business environment
