This role requires  onsite approximately 1-2x each week to support meetings, hiring events, career fairs, and team support across our Corewell Health East locations.

Job Summary

Manages the recruitment process for nursing support positions within the Corewell Health system. Identifies strong slates of qualified, diverse candidates to fill high vacancy positions providing and supporting patient care. Ensures exceptional experiences for all applicants. Strong communication skills and understanding of the position you support are imperative for maintaining partnerships with hiring managers, networking to source, assesses talent to deliver the strongest candidate slates, and provides subject matter expertise in all areas of Talent Attraction.

Essential Functions

  • Consults with hiring managers to understand position specific requirements.
  • Ensures timely and accurate posting of positions, applicant review, and submission of applicants for hiring manager consideration, within the Applicant Tracking System (Workday).
  • Appropriately screens applicants to ensure qualifications and availability, in accordance with Affirmative Action requirements. Provides applicants complete and accurate information and communication.
  • Provides overall nursing team support for hiring events to drive efficiency and timeliness of hires.
  • Partners with the Talent Scouts when there is a limited number of applicants for challenging to fill positions to assist in developing a strategy to build additional talent pools.
  • Facilitates offers of employment and initiates onboarding process. Assures that all information is processed accurately and timely, and in compliance with all requirements/regulations.
  • Participates in career fairs or other recruiting-related events to represent Corewell Health.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Human Resources, Business or related field
  • 3 years of relevant experience in recruiting and/or staffing or equivalent HR area. Experience with a broad range of positions.

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative sourcing techniques of passive candidates.
