We are currently looking for a Jr. Manager to join our Legal team at Nissan Headquarters Mx City. This Executive will act as an advisor to Nissan Mexicana’s management, provide expert counsel on commercial transactions, ensure compliance with corporate governance standards, and mitigate operational risks across all business activities. This role supports strategic decision-making while safeguarding the company’s legal and ethical integrity.
A Typical Day at Nissan:
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements critical to Nissan Mexicana´s operations, including supply, purchase, services and transportation contracts, amendments and termination agreements.
Provide legal support in negotiations with suppliers, addressing issues such as early termination, warranty liability, and risk mitigation strategies to avoid production line disruptions.
Deliver day-to-day legal guidance on matters impacting Nissan’s operations, including procurement, logistics, marketing, aftersales, IT and regulatory matters.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements for Nissan Mexicana and its affiliates or related companies (i.e. board meetings, shareholder resolutions).
Draft, update and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures in all corporate governance and legal transactional activities.
Coordinate with external counsel for corporate and transactional matters.
Assist in cross-border legal issues in collaboration with other regions.
Professional Profile We Are Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Law. Master or postgraduate specialty in transactions is desired.
6+ years of experience in corporate law within law firms and/or international companies.
Strong background in commercial and transactional matters.
Language: Advanced level of English
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office
Estimated travel requirements: 5% (Annually)
Nice to have:
Experience in the automotive industry.
