Job Summary

HP is seeking a Senior Director to lead the Centre of Excellence (COE) for Close and Statutory Reporting (CASR), a critical function within the finance organization. This role is responsible for the operational success, strategic alignment, and integration of financial activities with other major organizational functions. The incumbent will be fully accountable for the success of the designated finance function or department, influencing strategy, setting policy and direction, and ensuring the successful implementation of close and audits. The Senior Director will contribute to the overall strategic definition of the finance function with strong business acumen and act as a key advisor to executive management in influencing the strategic direction of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Oversee Accounting & Audit Services, managing audits, financial statements, process audits, and IFRS projects for multiple global entities.

·      Lead a team of senior leaders to ensure timely delivery of statutory financial statements and tax obligations across all entities.

·      Provide operational leadership for US GAAP and Local GAAP reporting across 50+ entities in global markets.

·      Oversee and drive the annual statutory audit planning process, collaborating with key stakeholders including audit firms, tax, legal, and market finance/country controllership.

·      Manage tax compliance activities across up to 120 entities providing support to the Tax organization.

·      Lead and oversee a global finance team of 60+ employees across three hub locations: India, Poland, and Mexico.

·      Manage key stakeholder relationships, including market finance leaders, tax & legal leadership at the Worldwide & market level, and external audit firms (EY & KPMG) at both WW & country levels.

·      Serve as a Finance Leadership Board member, responsible for designing and implementing strategies to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive, inclusive work culture.

·      Create and sustain an environment where employees feel motivated, engaged, and emotionally invested in the company’s success.

·      Act as the India Site Finance representative in leadership forums with global and regional finance leaders.

Team Leadership:

·      Lead and mentor the team, providing guidance, performance feedback, and career development opportunities.

·      Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks and responsibilities.

·      Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages teamwork and knowledge sharing.

Skills and Qualifications:

·      Chartered Accountant or Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA / CPA/ ACCA)

·      15+ years of relevant experience in a finance function

·       4 to 5 years of experience as a director in a similar role within a company of comparable size and complexity.

·      Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and Local GAAP.

·      Strong inter-personal skills and executive presence, matched with an ability to communicate at a senior leadership level
