About You:

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to own all aspects of accounting operations. You have previous experience working in an accounting role in a B2B SaaS technology company. You love working in a high growth startup environment and excel at organizing and developing processes that will have a meaningful impact for our team and our customers. About The Role:

Reporting into the Senior Controller, the Accounting Manager will be based in our NYC Office in a hybrid role. This is a critical role that will assist in scaling our processes and leading the execution of the daily accounting activities of the company. Including, but not limited to; monthly close, automate manual procedures and computations, work with external partners, identify opportunities for process improvements to accelerate the close and reporting timelines, and drive positive and impactful change for the company. You will get the opportunity to serve as a contributor to projects like our annual financial audit, tax and registration preparation, and other business initiatives. 

What you will own:

  • Day to day accounting operations
  • Training and development 
  • Assist in the formation of internal controls and policies
  • Develop a detailed understanding of business processes and connect with other departments’ personnel to execute month-end billings and support documentation
  • Work with Senior Controller on all aspects of creating a highly functioning, metrics-driven accounting team
  • Work with the team on all aspects of the cash lifecycle, including A/R, A/P) Documentation of recurring tasks and workflows

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
  • 7+ years of working in Adtech or SaaS (Experience at a SaaS Startup - a plus)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting theory
  • Experience with general ledger accounting, financial reporting and consolidations.
  • Experience with accounting technology NetSuite, Quickbooks, Bill.com, Expensify, etc..
  • High attention to details with excellent organizational skills and ability to take charge, set objectives, drive to results, team oriented

The total compensation range for this position in the United States is $100,000 to $120,000. Compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
