Duties & Responsibilities
Working closely with our engineers, you will be responsible for the setup and production of Revit models and ensuring there are enough resources to deliver projects. As a Senior BIM Coordinator, you will have a strong background in engineering services and be able to systematically plan out the building service design to support the development of coordinated models. As a senior member of the BIM Team, you will be responsible for junior staff's performance, work, and development and provide guidance, training, and mentorship to support the team’s development. You will provide input into the technical standards, templates, workflows and procedures to further develop the quality of our deliverables.
Key Skill Requirements
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and how to logically set out and coordinate the services.
Experienced Revit user and able to produce highly detailed models including:
Model setup and management.
Expert knowledge in mechanical or electrical settings.
Expert knowledge of Revit systems and a fully connected model.
Manage views, sheets, schedules and drawing lists.
Enforcing BIM standards (internal and project/client standards).
Responsible for model deliverables and presentation.
Assist engineers with model coordination and highlighting clashes.
Family creation and content management.
Experience with mechanical or electrical system calculations to support the design team would be an asset.
Experienced AutoCAD user with a good background in producing engineering CAD drawings.
Knowledge of BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud and how to publish, share and consume models & set up projects.
Good experience with Navisworks Manage.
Creating federated models.
Clash detection and leading coordination meetings.
Dynamo/programming experience would be an advantage
Excellent ability to read and understand engineering mark-up drawings & the design intent.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify cross-discipline coordination issues
Must have strong organizational skills, able to manage own workload and engineers’ expectations
Recognising potential issues or red flags on projects & proactively seeks out solutions, working with the project manager and design team to resolve them.
Excellent experience aligning with and understanding BIM standards set by the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) on projects. This would include attending BIM start-up meetings and adding to the development of the BEP on projects
Experienced working & communicating with external teams
Show an interest in the development of BIM in our industry and the standards set to meet the latest requirements
Takes ownership of own development.
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, is key for this role
Previous site experience would be beneficial

Qualifications
University Degree, Diploma or Higher Education Qualification in Architecture or Engineering
Project Experience
It is preferred that the candidate has had Exposure to twenty or more small to medium projects. Working in a BIM role as part of the design team across multiple project stages and being responsible for the production, setup and service coordination.

Introba is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $82,000 - $95,000 annually for this position and local market.
