The Operational Risk Senior Analyst role is to serve as an Independent Enterprise Resiliency Risk Analyst to support monitoring, analyzing and challenging the resilience of Citi’s various business lines and geographical regions. The mandate of the Independent Operational Risk Management function to oversee and challenge Citi’s Enterprise Resiliency Management organization has expanded scope to include review and challenge of the Enterprise Resilience remit, including but not limited to, practices of Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, Crisis Management and supporting disciplines.

The primary responsibilities are:

  • Assist in gathering and analyzing data related to Business Continuity, Operational Risk, and resilience metrics for assigned business lines and/or geographical regions.
  • Support the preparation of reports and dashboards that summarize Independent Risk Reviews, resilience posture, incidents and key performance indicator breaches to senior management.
  • Support Independent Risk Reviews focused on identifying resilience risks for assigned business lines and/or geographical regions.
  • Support the execution of Operational Risk Framework reviews such as MCA, Scenario Analysis, Lessons Learned and New Activity and/or Product Reviews against resilience risks.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of resilience processes, policies and tools by providing feedback based on analysis and industry best practices.
  • Assist the Team’s Communication and Training strategies
  • Provide support in cross-functional projects as needed.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Foundational knowledge of Business Continuity, Technology Disaster Recovery, and/or Operational Resiliency and Foundational understanding of Risk Management practices.
  • Foundational technical knowledge of resilience and recovery principles and processes
  • Awareness of global regulatory requirements underpinning standards, including, NIST, ISO, FFIEC, DRI, PRA, MAS, DORA etc.
  • Analytical skills with follow-up and problem-solving capability

Skills:

  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse backgrounds and positions
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical ideas effectively and persuasively

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient understanding of risk management and response plan life-cycle
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) and/or basic programming for data analysis is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint,
  • Introductory level understanding of global business continuity practices and industry trends

Qualifications:

  • Undergrad in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or any other computationally intensive discipline.
  • Graduate degree is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$79,120.00 - $118,680.00
