Position Overview:

As the Senior Account Manager - APAC, you contribute to the success of a dynamic team of Account Managers who facilitate our business with global partners and special customers. Your mandate is to develop and execute Fellow’s go-to-market strategy throughout the Asia-Pacific region. This responsibility includes:

  • Deeply understanding the specialty coffee, kitchen appliances, and drinkware markets in the region
  • Defining and refining our top priority markets
  • Establishing the wholesale go-to-market strategy for each priority market (e.g., distribution, direct sales, etc.)
  • Closely managing our key relationships in the region, delivering excellent customer service and promotion our brand values
  • Projecting and reporting on business performance by region, by customer, etc.
  • Managing and processing orders for the region, with support from Sales Coordinators

You provide clear, concise, and timely communication internally and externally while meticulously owning the business. This role is based in our office in San Francisco, CA and is required to be in-office 3 days per week. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Own strategic planning for the region: develop a country by country omni-channel strategy to grow distribution opportunities into big business for Fellow
  • Define specific customer targets by channel and develop plans to actualize sales
  • Manage sales, process orders, and track daily pipeline of APAC business to deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
  • Develop and manage a monthly forecast by customer
  • Report out weekly, monthly, and quarterly business dynamics and progress
  • Work cross functionally with Category and Marketing to execute highly impactful product launches and promotions through core partners
  • Communicate regularly with Sales Coordinator, Operations, and Logistics to ensure orders are process in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience team to mitigate and solve international wholesale customers’ CX issues
  • Attend regional trade shows to interface with current and prospective clients

Experience Requirements: 

  • 6-8+ years of regional general management and/or account management experience with consumer packaged goods
  • Experience working with customers in APAC region
  • High horsepower and exceptional analytical capability; ability to ingest many diverse qualitative and quantitative inputs and be able to place them in the broader context of the business and local market
  • “Elastic thinker” who can operate at both the 10,000 foot level and the 10-inch level
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence; ability to work with all levels of seniority both internally and externally
  • Passion for sales, product design, and customer service
  • Proficient working in Salesforce, Netsuite, Asana, Google Suite
  • Ability to travel regularly to tradeshows and client meetings globally
  • Any APAC language skills are a plus

Salary Range: $100,000-$130,000 base salary; $125,000-160,000 compensation including commission and performance bonus
