Team Description
 

The Commercial Operations Senior is part of a team that is helping to transform our Commercial models and operations. We are looking for a self-starter with great interpersonal skills, an inquisitive mind, and the motivation to progress your career.

If so, we may have a rewarding position for you within the Commercial Operations and Planning Organization, to apply your interests and strengths to make a positive impact on Sabre and its internal and external customers.  This role will be a critical member of the Airline Distribution Commercial Operations Team and with your contributions, will have an impact on how current and future Commercial Agreements and/or Programs between Sabre and Participating Carriers are executed and operationalized.

 
Role and Responsibilities
 

  • Responsible for executing signed GDS Air Commercial Agreements.
  • Act as a liaison between Sabre and Participating Carriers.
  • Interpret and explain the commercial terms and conditions outlined in Distribution Agreements between Sabre and Participating Carriers. 
  • Engages with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate these into business requirements.
  • Drafts initial Business Requirement Document, facilitates Business Requirement Document readouts to deliver the requirements to business systems teams, and obtains final sign off.
  • Participates in planning and implementation phases for Airline Distribution Commercial Operations projects and/or programs.  
  • Communicates and coordinates with other internal departments to insure understanding alignment, responsibilities, & tasks required to execute Airline Distribution Commercial Operations, projects and/or programs.
  • Creates and maintains templates for documenting business requirements. 
  • Reviews effectiveness of contract executions and applies learnings for future implementations.
  • Provides support to Program /Project managers and project stakeholders 

Qualifications and Education Requirements
 

  • Work experience as a business analyst or experience in sales operations, sales support, Billing Analyst, Business Analyst and/or operational support in a business-to-business commercial organization.
  • Advanced English level both written and verbal
  • Excellent communication skills, including summarizing information for executive consumption. The ability to tell a story and obtain buy in during presentations is highly regarded.
  • Detail oriented, excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience in using QlikView, Salesforce, Business Objects, Rally or Sabre Red 360 is a plus.
