What the Role Entails
Key Responsibilities
Regional LiveOps & Event Scheduling
- Time Zone Navigation: Master the complex scheduling of Daily Resets, patch deployments, and time-limited events across 5 distinct time zones (from PST to BRT), mitigating player friction caused by Daylight Saving Time (DST) discrepancies.
- Local Event Operations: Plan and execute hyper-local in-game and community events tied to major cultural beats (e.g., Carnaval, Dia de los Muertos, Super Bowl) and regional esports tournaments.
Who We Look For
Qualifications
- Language Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in English AND/OR Spanish/Portuguese, with excellent command of Mandarin Chinese (to communicate seamlessly with the HQ/Dev team). Trilingual candidates are highly preferred.
- Industry Experience: 3+ years in game publishing, localization, or regional operations. Proven experience in mid-to-hardcore games (specifically FPS/TPS/Battle Royale) within the Americas market is a massive plus.
- Cultural Fingerprint: Deep, current understanding of Americas pop culture. You know who NA hardcore players watch on Twitch, and what Reggaeton/Trap artists (e.g., Karol G, Peso Pluma) LATAM players listen to on TikTok.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to move beyond intuition; capable of analyzing A/B test data for localized creatives to improve CTR and CVR.
🌟 Bonus Points
- Lived, studied, or worked extensively in the US, Mexico, or Brazil.
- An active, hardcore player of competitive shooters (e.g., PUBG Mobile, COD Mobile, Free Fire, Valorant), with a critical eye for their localization strengths and weaknesses.
